Just use launchers. A giga works really well. Just make sure you disable resource harvesting (leave item collecting on tho) before attacking the lava golem otherwise sometimes all you’ll collect is stone and metal and the loot bag will stay in the lava. Do wyverns work? If you have pickup mod. A good (journeyman) Pump action shotgun is enough. Grapples is a must min 30pcs. Xtra set of good flak and some xtra gauntlets and you would be fine. A launcher can shoot around 12-14 shots bring 3 and 3x14 rockets.
